Fortuna Gemini

Fortuna Gemini is a simple yet highly effective system for managing your short term and multi applicant placements, particularly those with irregular shift patterns. It is intended to be used in tandem with Fortuna 2000 or Fortuna Enterprise for the complete recruitment software package. Fortuna Gemini introduces an innovative approach to managing multiple applicants and vacancies, you quite simply ‘drag and drop’ candidates into a vacancy.

Fortuna Gemini uses just one screen to manage all vacancies in an intuitive, graphically based environment. Most work is done using the mouse, through simple drag and drop operations with very little reliance on inputting data. All details regarding Clients, Candidates and Vacancies are available in two of the three sections providing all the information required at the click of a mouse, a third section is available for all diary entries.

Numerous pop out filters have been incorporated to allow the user to quickly sort through and define criteria to exact requirements. Criteria can be searched individually or by including a range of criteria selections. Simply by pressing one button, all selected criteria is brought up on the Fortuna Gemini screen to view and use. Further searching options are now available by right clicking on ‘Client’ or ‘Vacancy’ to enable the user to search for candidates by availability, qualifiers or a combined search of both. More information can be accessed by simply double clicking on a Client, Vacancy or Candidate, which has a plus sign next to it, this then expands the grid to access further data such as all related vacancies or filled posts. Also by pointing or hovering the mouse over any of the text/boxes, within any of the sections, all key information will be displayed in the information panel at the bottom of the screen to make the system even more user friendly.

Placing candidates could now not be any simpler; all you have to do is drag the candidate onto a vacant shift and just drop them in! The candidates name will be displayed and the shift will be shown as filled. By right clicking on the shift you now have further options to fill all vacant shifts for that period, confirm the booking or view/alter the shift times.

Numerous filters have been included to make searching and defining criteria as quick and as effective as possible together with various searching functions, which can be based on previous candidates who have worked for a particular client, qualifiers, availability or skills. With the added bonus that billing rates for both Client and Candidate can be set up, viewed and updated.

And if that’s not enough, not only can Fortuna Gemini can be customised to suit the user, there is now a comprehensive online Help manual for full instructions on how to use all available features.

Fortuna Gemini simplifies the Placement Process:

  • Key information, regarding candidates & vacancies, appears at the bottom of the screen simply by pointing to the item in question with the mouse.
  • Filters for candidates allow the user to identify a suitable candidate by skills possessed and/or by availability.
  • The user can also filter for candidates who have worked for a specific client previously.
  • Place a candidate simply by drag and dropping with the mouse onto the shift shown in the calendar.
  • Multiple shifts can be booked for a specific candidate with a simple right click of the mouse.
  • Vacancies can be moved, and extended to any given time period from a single day to a week.
  • Whenever a vacancy is moved or extended, an export file facility enables the user to mail merge all affected candidates.
  • Facility to archive vacancies, which have ended.
