Overview

Fortuna 2000 is user friendly and flexible, featuring comprehensive electronic help, which details full instructions on how to use all of Fortuna 2000's features.

It also features:

  • A fully customisable skills list, which is used to match candidates to vacancies.
  • Automatic candidate to vacancy matching. You can also perform searches using a variety of criteria you specify, such as: skills possessed, availability, location, age, salary requirements. Other searches include text searches for key words contained in CVs.
    Searches which match vacancies to a given candidate.
  • A diary facility to track events, record activities and manage your items to do. This also includes an alarm which warns you when you have upcoming tasks and flexible filtering options allowing you to view the diary entries you want to see.
  • Simple but effective navigation to quickly find the record you want to view.
  • The Fortuna Synchronisation Module allows remote offices and personnel to utilise the data from the main office. Data can be synchronised on a regular basis to ensure everyone has access to the same information.
  • Fortuna 2000 simplifies the Recruitment Process, including:
  • Recording and tracking of references.
  • Shortlist production allowing tracking of candidate's progress towards placement. This also has full mail merging capability, and enables your consultants to utilise their recruitment skills in the final selection process. There is also a facility for automatically emailing candidates' CV documents to the client contact.
  • Interview scheduling and tracking.
  • A wide variety of searches, through clients, vacancies and candidates. The results of these searches can be used in many ways, such as: to place candidates, to send mail merge letters to candidates/contacts, to export to eg Excel or Word.
  • A variety of types of vacancy - permanent, temporary, contract, and multiple (a vacancy for which more than one person is required).

Automatic invoice production, using timesheets and invoice templates we design according to your specifications.
Flexible export facility of accounts data, to payroll packages (eg Sage), accounts software, BACS.
Instant creation and update of CVs as MS Word documents, ensuring a corporate format. This avoids duplication of data entry, using information already entered when adding a new candidate to the database. The CV template is designed according to your specifications.


Documents in a variety of file formats (eg graphics files, Word documents, Excel documents) can be embedded in the database. This includes CVs which candidates provide you with, by email or floppy disc, which can be used for text searches.

Flexible and automatic mail merging facilities, available for sending letters at the touch of a button to:

Full reports generator ranging from daily monitoring to management reporting. Reports cover all aspects of the database, including candidates (eg all, individual, placed), clients, vacancies (eg filled, live), diary, timesheets and invoicing. Reports can also be filtered by eg consultant, date.
Archive and retrieval facility for both candidates and vacancies, which allows you to keep your data up to date.
