Introducing PalBase 5
In January 2012 PalBase 5 will comply with the new Community Minimum Data Set and processes
PalBase 5 will be available from 1st December 2011
Key features:
- Tracking clients through all treatment including structured follow up processes on failure to attend individual sessions or drop out
- Identify and record risks like injecting behaviour, mental/physical health, pregnancy, suicidal ideation and potential danger to the general public or professionals
- Production of comprehensive statistical information on substance misuse and offending behaviour

Our collaboration with the Get It While You Can Project since 1994, Community Drug Teams, Mental Health NHS Trusts and the Police has created a software program that meets all agencies’ needs.
With the latest developments, PalBase now includes comprehensive and easy-to-use Drug Arrest monitoring software. This works by coordinating a joint database for use between police, health and agency teams to share live data which guarantees consistent information for the tracking and monitoring of their clients.
PalBase monitors acquisitive crime habits to support the system of substance misuse referrals and ensuring effective continuity in tracking and monitoring of appointments, treatments offered and the progress made by each client following referral to a particular scheme.
